Flow Fruitbowl

Developed in association with Ramon Middelkoop. The Keltum department of Van Kempen Begeer asked Bakker to design a series of decorative table pieces in silver. Silver-plated alpaca or stainless steel. The design of each of the 15 or so objects is based on the same form inspired by nature: a drip falling into the water where it causes ripples. The dish can be used as a mat or as a lid for glasses, dishes and bowles. For a serviette holder that doubles as a hotplate, the rippling circle is combined with a box shape in walnut.
