Jury including Gijs Bakker awards prestigious LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize

On April 10th, the winner of the prestigious LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize was announced by the jury including Rolf Fehlbaum, the former chief executive of the Swiss furniture company Vitra, designers Gijs Bakker, Naoto Fukasawa and Patricia Urquiola, W’s editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi, and creative director of Loewe Jonathan Anderson. The winning work by Ernst Gamperl, selected by the Jury, as well as the works of the finalists selected by the Experts Panel will be included in an exhibition and accompanying catalogue “LOEWE Craft Prize 2017”, on view in Madrid and subsequently travelling to other cities in Europe, Asia and the United States. The Prize for the winning entry is 50.000 euros.
