Tripod (1978) produced by Lyngby Porcelain

Danish brand Lyngby Porcelain has put the Tripod light design (1978) by Gijs Bakker into production.

The Tripod is comprised of a single piece of clear mouth-blown crystal glass, shaped like an elongated dome.

A light bulb is supported at the centre of the dome by three finger-shaped sections, caused by indentations in the exterior.

The electricity cable extends out from the lamp shade, and is held in place by a small gap in the base of the glass.
